Over the years, The Tandoori Place has grown in leaps and bounds and today it's the leading Indian restaurant with branches in eight different locations throughout the South East QLD, Australia.

 The Tandoori Place has the north Indian style where flavor rather than heat, along with a combination of many spices, is the distinguishing feature. The style remains constant in all the five Tandoori Place restaurants. Blindfolded and judged purely on taste, you could be enjoying a meal in any one of them.

Tandoori Place gives great importance in providing a courteous service to the customers. All the staff is specially trained to give customers a great assistance. Whether its choosing a dish or knowing more about Indian tradition, the waiting staff is always there for help.

The Ambience
All the nine restaurants have got the unmistakable touch of India. Whether its the carving, pictures, decor or the dishes, the sub continent looms large, its color evident from menu through to table mats and sometimes , the Sari.

The Tandoori Place won the "Best of the Best" award from Gold Coast Bulletin and "Queensland No. 1 "from Restaurant & Catering Association of Australia for year 2001 to 2007 and Gold coast No.1 Indian restaurant for year 2001,2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007....Finalist  2008,2009,2010  Winner this year 2011.
